The only reason the score was as close as it was is that we took our foot off the gas when the game was won. I was on the Giants forum last week and they were very confident. That more than anything is why 'Ponner' is taking defeat so badly.

My only complaint with the ref (all refs will make some mistakes) was that he allowed Huddersfield to get away with a dodgy tackle technique. The number of times they were areound the neck during the wrestle was incredible (I've watched it again on Sky+ and it's even worse on the TV).
He eventually picked it up in the second half and penalised them a couple of times but it continued afterwards as well. This is a technique that they are trying to snuff out in Oz but maybe Nathan Brown reckons the Super League is a couple of years behind so he can get away with it for a bit.

Maybe Huddersfield had Ben Thaler on their side as well when they played Bradford. K'nell, don't think he saw one knock-on, forward pass, ball-strip or laying-on by the Pie-men. Eventually, Bradford capitulated but FC need to watch out - they might be allowed to have the ball when they play us. |

Have a serious word with yourselves, We were GARBAGE 1st half and not much better in 2nd half, silly passes, dropped balls, schoolboy errors, the ref constantly pinged us for offside and grapple tackles (both teams were offside and Hull holding down constantly which was never penalised) AND YOU STILL ONLY WON COS WE MISSED 2 KICKS
