Exactly what K-Diddy has said, Monstersupplements is really good. If your planning on losing weight, I would recommend PHD Diet Whey with the Lean Degree capsules for £50 I believe this will be the best offer to go for if fat loss is your goal. It's a 2kg tub of Diet Whey and 120 capsules of Lean Degree, which will last you a month.

Once you've reached you fat loss goal and would like to add lean mass then I would deffinitely go for the PHD Synergy all in one. Which is top stuff only downside is it's £50 and only lasts for around 2 weeks. If not get the Pharma Whey (Protein).

Had a laugh at some of last few comments ....I am now not gay , no turd tunnel cadbury alley for me ....sorry.

Back to weight loss - lost 600g in last 2 days and had about 1400 calories both days.

Will move up to 1800 a day next week and see how we go using all the advice , apart from a night at Fuel when back in Hull

its hard to measure your weight loss over just a couple of days as your weight varies so much with things like water retention and loss, time of day you get weighed (usually lowest 1st thing in the morning). best not to obsess over weighing and just do it once a week - besides people who obsess over their weight are definately gay :D

Firstly you might want to work out what your basal metabolic rate is in terms of calories burnt just by doing bugger all. http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/
Then to get an idea as to your actual calories burnt on top of your BMR http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calcu ... -equation/

As a previous poster mentioned 500 less Kcals per day is a good start & a relatively easy and sustainable way of reducing fat stores. 'The Artists' words regarding weight loss equally so. Actually fat loss is a better way to look at it rather than out and out weight loss, as weight won't go down quite as much if you start an exersize program too.
In any case 1.6kg/3.5 lbs weight loss a week is very achievable without caning yourself.
Good luck

Good call , I need 2450 a day active to my lifestyle , eating about 1550-1700 cal a day since Monday and will move to 1850 a day next Monday for a week , and then to 1900 a day and try and stay there until weight off.

Intermittant fasting flies in the face of most of the advice given on here yet seems to produce good results.

diet/nutrition and exercise are very personal and specific to the individual, I haven't been above 11.5 stone ever in my life, no matter what I eat/drink or take as supplements.

the most important thing is your perception of yourself, if "you" are happy with "you" then "you" are doing well, I know people who exercised every day and dropped down dead at the age of 37, I know other people who drink, smoke and eat rubbish and are into their 80's.
