Think you're missing the point of Ullfc's post.
We have been shocking of late and inconsistency has dogged Radford's tenure (cup win aside)
We fell away badly last year when all was there for the taking and I take sitting in 5th as no solace as we should be sitting much higher if only we didn't continue self destructing.
Losses people can take, accepting we have injuries is part and parcel of the game but this shocking 1 dimensional play and no ability to perform mentally is the issue people allude too.
This is all Radford's job to sort out and if he can't the sentiment of a cup win should not breed complacency.
You may be content sitting in 5th but I am not.
A team with our credentials with consistency I would expect to be performing better.
This is no dig at Radford or a call for his head but people have the right to question him right now.

Where did I say he didn't have the right to question Radford? One person's complacency at Top 5 is another's indignant sense of entitlement to a Top 4 place, surely?

Re: Catalans : Tue May 30, 2017 6:19 am
Disappointing to lose as we did and you can't fault the effort but, yet again, dumb errors and ill discipline cost us.

We're in a hole and the only way I see out is to get the bulk of our first choice players back but that doesn't look likely and we'll not see watts for the next 2-4 games.

With the fixtures coming up the best I can see is scraping into the top 8's with the season over by July. Worst case scenario is falling off a cliff into the middle 8's

Best team again, Catalans were poor and didn't look like scoring unless we gave them chances, very negative side.

But as Jake says usual problems, too loser with the ball, failure to deal with kicks and discipline.

With 10 to go had the game won, don't concentrate at kick off, penalty try, then the next set, in control give away a penalty late in the art, try.

Lots of effort and some good play, but real dumb play.

Not sure what Radford can do at the moment

Got to try abs win one more game to make us safe, starting with Wigan on Saturday

Like the opposite of last year. Very few injuries and winning close games vs several key injuries and losing close games.

Your reply to Ullfc alluded to the fact that he should not be questioning Radford or at least was daft to be doing so.

Never once have I or anyone else indicated a sense of entitlement to a top 4 place. That has to be earned.
All I have stated in my opinion that with consistency and the right mental attitude we should be top 4.
Stupid losses to Leigh, Saints and Cats have proven this ontop of clinging on for a draw at Warrington.

So I think you are displaying complacency accepting current top 5 when we could and should have cemented our top 4 credentials.
It's all different sides of a coin but at least I don't consistently question or ridicule posters for opposing views or go into full back peddle mode when challenged.

Gutted. Honestly thought we'd won when rawsthorne scored. In fairness to the team they give there all.But again can't close a game out. We had them on the rack second half. The kick to the corner was the killer for me. Just knock the ball dead and run the clock.down. Positive for me was rawsthorne looked like he could be a decent winger and griffin had a decent game IMO. What happened to Bowden? And why isn't masi getting a sub spot?

His job should be at risk . Hiding behind the Cup win can't go on for ever.
You can see how poorly Coached we are by the way we play .
Our attack is dreadful, slow and ponderous . If it wasn't for Kelly things would be a lot worse .
Discipline is terrible , so frustrating the stupid penalties we give away.
Radford should be under threat as the buck stops with him .
We have injuries, yes , but it seems the mis management of our salary cap has weakened our squad. Abdull, Naughton and Hadley loaned out to balance the books .
All 3 of those if fit , and here would have played last night .
So for me , and quite a few others fans I speak to ,Radford needs to be worried .
He is getting found out . The dining out on the Cup win is over now .

Thought you'd deserved something from the game.

Any news on injuries for Saturday against us? Fonua? Taylor?
