NRL is light years away from SL

Reminds me of why I love the game when I see these type of games.

I’m not even sure SL is up to NSW Cup level now?

Definitely not, unless it hit one of them by mistake fair play to Roosters though they shouldn't have been in with a sniff. I was rooting for the sharks but only because of fitzgibbon.

Leeds getting nilled at half time, seems to be a big problem with attitude down the lower reaches of SL this year. (along with poor quality players)

Im generally positive about franchising as I dont see the point of teams yoyoing about (Toulouse are no better off from a year in SL than before) but a worry is without any relegation some players may get lazier.

The sport needs Promotion and relegation
You mention Toulouse but it was the fact that after this season there is no promotion and relegation they did not invest much money on players as it would be too much of a gamble.
This was from an interview with their coach.
Just hope they win the playoff
Featherstone replacing Wakefield where is the forward thinking in that.
IMG in this sport is a waste of time and money.Too many think tanks.
Cant see then lasting anyway when the RFL wake up

Keeping on the recent theme of Manchester bands, it's been "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" for The Smiths this weekend. Maybe even "Panic".
