Hopefully Agar has a couple of aces up his sleeve or we will be competing for 7th at best next season.
Thats what I like to hear, fans with some optimism.
All those teams who finished above us this season, are more than capable of doing so again next year having in many instances, recruited strongly or having a crop of excellent youngsters coming through. Rovers will be much stronger and better coached, Bradford appear to putting a decent side together as well as recruiting a more than capable coach. Salford will be better for the crop of players coming in and if Camel lips stays at the Crusaders I don't expect them to take a backwards step, that leaves us scrapping with the likes of Quins, Cas, Le Cats (who I think are recruiting reasonably well) and the new franchise for the minor places. Unlike some on here I foresee no end to the persitent injuries, particular with a 34 yr old scrum half (who will continue to get injured) and who will recieve little or no help from his current halfback partner in optimising our attacking options, nor any direction from our inept coach.
I fully expect another slide in the wrong direction, a season of injuries, no success and another 2 1/2 year deal for Agar at the end of next year, and like many others will still buy my season pass for 2012 along with shirt etc. etc. etc.
Its all a bit like the blind leading the blind really, but that, as Wilf regularly says is what being a Hull FC fan is all about. We expect much and once every 20 years or so get something back in return - only another 15 years to wait, everything else in between is just window dressing.
