As much as I don't want to see Salford struggle financially, we need to keep a close eye on the situation, certainly keep an eye on Dupree, Ackers and Patrington.

It wouldn't bother me using a quota spot for a pacey winger "if" the right player was available , It's a problem position we have struggled to fill with any quality for a while .

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Definitely agree Dave and think Dupree & Ackers would be good signings and ones that more importantly would be upgrades to what we have now and improve us. Not sure Partington is any better than Fash and feel we need 2 big front rowers as the priority and possibly 2 x SR with the form of Lane and Savelio seemingly out of favour.

I really hope we can see Savelio come back from the wilderness. He’s the first back rower we’ve had since Willie Manu who I think can just decide to make something happen out of nowhere. He’s got everything, just lacks the professionalism of Ellis, Mini etc.

I agree re the club needs to speculate to accumulate re signings. We’ve started poorly, but do slowly start looking like we’re improving.

Right now, I’m really considering whether to renew. £58 a month Ill spend to watch us get hammered in our own back yard. Next year is an expensive year for me and I could probably use the money better else where.

However, a few exciting signing of players and I’ll easily be lulled back in. I just hope we try make our ‘marquee’ (i mean in terms of quality not marquee quota) players non quota.

Too often we go big on overseas players who in reality lack loyalty and are often hit or miss. The days of quota players like Ogre and Fitzy are sadly behind us. It’s got to be about locking in exciting British talent down.

Spent big on Ellis and in the end, he replaced his weight in gold (2016,2017 & leadership).

Not sure how he would fit in but I’d like us to take punt on Gildart and obviously Leeming. Their time in NRL should up their playing and training standards.

Eribe Doro would be worth a look. Only signed a 12 month deal at Fax. Haven't seen much of him this season, but always seems a handful the odd time I've caught him.

I think signing a winger would be a waste. Smiths going to play Hoy at fullback so let litten make it his own and focus on bringing in a back rower.

Mitch is still a better all round wing than Litten.Hope he gets a chance when fit.
Said weeks ago that i saw more from Litten at full back in a re shuffled 20 minute spell than i have seen from Hoy and he has now confirmed this with his recent performances.
For Wigan i would leave Litten at full back and move Hoy to 6 and ease Trueman back with a couple of appearances off the bench.
This might give Hoy the chance to run with the ball a bit more which is what we were expecting to see from him at Full back but never happened.
Litten on the other hand seems to be able to find open field.

I'd release Mitch. I'm sure we can get a better utility back. Especially it he needs an extensive op on his knee

Shame about Mitch - wholehearted but injuries & possibly age against him.

Agree it isn't a priority but if we are rebuilding properly apart from the obvious pack issues, we really need some more pace on the wings, fully agree a top class hooker right up there too. Leeming would be excellent.

Looking at the pack Nathan Brown not getting a game in the NRL, at Eels he looked made for SL - really gritty & determined, would be on my wishlist.

Pretty sure Brown signed for the Roosters earlier this season
