from talksport interview with AP main points that stick out for me

no merger while he owns the club
needs some money spent on recruitment
he also noted the gates being down this year

Pearson will attract local based investment in the Club.
Certain Black and White business men would not deal with Hetherington.

From the interview we need to play on the Adrian Durham links a lot more than we currently do, both as a club and a sport. I never actually realised how much of an RL fan he was, so he'd surely be willing to do a bit more promotion of the game as a broadcaster to millions of people everyday.

Pearson categorically says he will never merge the club.
Going in and having a look at the whole situation before any decisions are made on Agars future.
Doesn't think it will take much to get the club challenging every year, which is where it belongs. Bit of investment in the playing side. Also a bit of investment in the marketing to get fans excited again.
Was shocked to find how little the players earned for the effort they put in.

Just listened to AP again and he sure says all the right things.
My doubts of the early morning is much more positive now.
Wonder who the 'quality players' are he has in mind??
