Compare that with Ese'ese who made 17 hits ups on Friday for over 100 metres and the most tackle busts (8) in the game. Plus making 29 tackles on top of that. Early doors with Ese'ese but theres signs there that he will be a better signing than Satae was. His workrate definitely looks higher to me. Satae could do some incredible runs but then usually only csrried the ball another 6 or 7 times per match
It doesn't help having both Fash and Ashworth out at present, but I'll like to see Herman at 13. We're lacking in the back row and he looks like he wants to move the ball rather than be an out and out go forward ball carrier.
Good news. What I've seen and heard he has all the attributes to be a cracking player
We seem to have several young players like him but the problem is how many will actually make regular S/L players. Gardiner looked good at that level but looks lost when played in the first team so i doubt the club will keep him on Like Charles he has some pace which is what is needed in todays game and its good to see some backs coming through the system.
talking of charles age.just watched parramatta eels v west tigers.one of wests best players was laclan galvin, playing in the halves.he created 2 of wests 3 tries,2nd one was a peach.hes only 18.played full match in all wests games so far.they have no problem playing them over there.

That's been the problem with both Hull clubs for years. Stand out academy players who gain representative honours do not progress to first team level and even if they do most don't fulfil their potential. I'm not sure if it's to do with the attitude of the players or poor coaching. Wigan and Saints are a production line for quality SL players. The only way we are going to compete long term is to copy their model. Easier said than done though.
This is the advantage of franchising that it takes away relegation and you can blood youngsters and have no worry about going down but it’s still a results business and fans would soon get on their backs if going wrong.Charles will no doubt kop it of some know nowt be!!end.

I would say we have a better record, not much though than our wannabe Man City of rugby league across the river of bringing young players through and a chance.
