I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

McIntosh got his injury end of June 2021 and make his debut for Hull in Feb 2022. Griffin was similar, did his achilles the same month and was back for the start of the season.

Carlos was out from June 2022 to March this year.

I would imagine Trueman ciould be back maybe April.

Think that's a bit optimistic, but I'll take it.

If we can sign a decent squad player as half cover. Even if he misses the first month/6 weeks it should soften the blow

Again the negative Nellies predicting doom and gloom over Truemans injury . Nothing set in stone but he could return for round 1.

Pretty sure at one point the club said he could be back for the first game this season.

Fingers crossed for a quick recovery but five months seems optimistic.

Is nobody getting a bit concerned about the sheer lack of signings the club are making? Weve only got 4-5 signed up so far - One of those is decent in Ese'Ese, Okunbur could be good but he could be equally turd, Ashworth who knows how he'll be, Tindall seems to be a project, No confirmations on Pele who falls into the could be decent could be turd bracket. Then look at who's leaving, who weve seemingly tried to sign but failed and its looking rather worrying imo. Some seriously good players are gonna have to be signed to lift the overall quality level of the squad as its currently looking very poor for next year but i just dont see where those signings are coming from?

Seb , don’t believe the media, reckon pretty much all deals are done. Clubs, agents & players are tight , they release deals when it suits.

How the signings of Ese'ese and Okunbor went under the radar gives me the confidence that they have deals done.

The money must be there for a top class 7 given what we were prepared to offer Clifford to stay, as others have said, hoping we have got someone but managed to keep it quiet... think it'll make or break our season for next year, get the right 7 in and we'll be looking towards the top 6 again, go with Trueman and Hoy and we'll be in the same spot as we are now discussing how we need to get 2025 recruitment right to get into the top 6

Trueman & Hoy could work but for me I think it lacks balance, where’s to controlling aspect coming from. We’d be relying on the pack to dominate.

For me we need to sign someone like Flanagan or Johns. Best we’ll get on the market and they both do have potential if we can bring it out of them.
