The main thing is to improve the robustness of the squad and get value for money, so signing Hardraker and Chamberlain to replace Sutcliffe and Scott makes sense.
Although Seizer has missed a few ganes, the last 3 seasons he has played 55 games, whilst Trueman has played 44.
Rapana has played over 20 games just about every season. Same with Asista apart from this year.
When was the last time we signed a captain and recent dream team player along with 2 players from the NRL who are first choice players.
Hopefully a new backroom team wi help this also and keep the likes of Abdul fitter, which he has shown he can do at London amd his first few seasons at Rovers, we're he was in MOS contention and playing internationally.
if this is our starting lineup first game, I can't see how anyone can say it is well ahead of this seasons side and that's without any coaching impact.

But why are we signing Rapana?
No doubt a quality player in his time but he is a wing now playing full back and you see him here as a centre.
According to the HDM is was not our first choice as once again we were turned down by the player/players we wanted.Sailor was mentioned
I know we are weak at centre so why dont we go all out to sign a centre.
There is just no strategy
We are ok in the wing positions, and even if Walker leaves we have full back cover in Moy,Litten and Hardaker.
Notice there is no place in your proposed team for our star 3 year man Chamberlain
