There are a couple of clubs who have signed overseas players for 2022 who don't qualify for a Visa/work permit due to lack of NRL appearances but would have qualified had they played a minimum of 2 (I think) games in the 2021 World Cup.

Their National Federations have had to submit statements that the said players would have made the required appearances.

Still ongoing as far as I know.

I'd certainly be looking at playing Hookem more regularly if we dont sign another halfback, he is a year younger than Dodd and Lewis both whom have been playing regularly in SL and not looked out of place.

If players are paid off would it count on the cap ?

Pleased on the Brown and Wynne renewals both look like very good SL players, Brown should be playing more next year, he make mistakes, but he is very strong has aggressive defence and one of our few forwards who as an offload. I really like Wynne, has a lot of raw talent and can cover a lot of positions, I be looking at him playing centre as his main position.

Like others I haven't seen anything in McNamara when playing SL, certainly looked better when I've seen him in academy, but the coaching staff see something in him, I'd be looking at loaning him out to a lower league club next year.

No, they would be de-registered, so no longer at the club.

Hes only played 2 games in the NSW Cup as hooker. The rest were at 13/backrow.

He seems more of a utility player than an out and out 9...

Satae had barely played many first grade games when we signed him and he didn’t turn out too bad
