If any news is going to come out this week id hazard a guess it'll be reported either today or tomorrow, then announced by the club on Thursday.

They have signed Jack Wighton, gives them Walker, Wighton and Ilias. Probably got a young wonderkid too, not sure at the age of 24 if he will make it in the NRL, depends on if he is happy playing NSW cup or wants to test himself at a better level (like Clifford has done).

Can't see how he would get a visa, unless he has some kind of European passport like Schneider.

Can't believe I forgot they signed Wighton!

I had him down to play centre, but things might have changed since they went belly up at the end of the season

Yeah, looks like Leeds, based on what I've seen of both, definitely a downgrade on McDonald. Wonder if they wish they had kept Sutcliffe or Broadbent.

Glad it isn't us ! He is too slow and cumbersome for centre, he wouldn't improve many SL back divisions, certainly not ours , from what I have seen of him. He looked a good player at Melbourne but I wouldn't want him now, maybe right about Leeds with McDonald's no show.

Does having a European passport make getting a UK work visa easier than just having an Australian one post-Brexit? I don’t know, but I’m thinking ‘no’ based on the general political framing.

Can't see how Schneider gets a wor visa otherwise, as need to play so many games to qualify,

Same with the players Cas have signed.

That's another way, like Lovodua and the PNG lad Warrington have signed. It doesn't seem like Hawkins has that, enough appearances or a helpful passport.

Although I wonder if we are having issues with Pele.
