So looking like a 280k per club shortfall for the 2021 season in sky tv revenue.

Quite a hit that. I can see recruitment being sparse, and a lot of youth promoted. I think the likes of Harris and McNamara could well be Kelly's replacements.

Im guessing Kelly was on around 150k a year, so still got more to go till we've saved 280k off expenses. Not sure what Ratu was on.

While I'm itching for Brown and Wynne to get more game time, have we got any more decent youth players?

How are Scott and Bienek doing, as well as Harris?

Any news on further contract renewals

I can live with giving youngsters a go if it’s safeguarding the club. It’s just people understanding that we may underachieve whilst still needing them to buy memberships. A decent coach could be the difference. Hope Lasty makes a go of it because its not looking likely it will be someone from overseas.
It’s not just us, the game is in danger all ways round. Someone signing Greg Inglis doesn’t suddenly makes things better.
I’m just hoping that someone can come on board with AP and help financially. Giving how hard that was before covid doesn’t make me believe its possible now.

Reading Pearsons quote about the new sky deal,we're in trouble, think covid will set is back a few years. Fully expect us to not replace the likes of Kelly and play some young kids.

I just hope the fans can see the bigger picture, have patience and stick with us.

Yep, can't see much in the way of new signings for next year. Player movement is only going to be one way for the foreseeable future and that is down under.
If we have to tighten our belts and possibly offload a high earner or two to get through then so be it.

Completely agree. All about survival for me, Club Hull, whereby we have a group of good players with attachment to the club beyond their pay cheque, might be a positive thing.

Not the worst side in the world, but we certainly need both some retain and recruit.

Would love Jones to stay for next season.

Signing Tuimavave is the main one I want, i'd keep Houghton, Buchanan and Lane.

Unsure on Shaul.

Maybe not as captain, I’d make Sneyd captain, but I've been watching a lot of games from 2017/2017 and he has great, his running, pass selection was so much better than it is now, I think a new coach and him being spelled he could get back to that form.

Another thing I've noticed in some of those games and ones from 2018 is what a great halfback Connor could be, he has the full skill set and in some of those games was unplayable, I really hope he gets a good run in a more pivotal position.
