Washy will be spelling Houghton and the back row I'd imagine.
Can't see Lynne playing, he would be targetted, like we targeted Latus last year.
For me, it makes sense to play Manu there,
neither Welham nor Webster are quick enough to cause him too many problems.

suprised you think that.

No back row rotation, Genuis. Are you Agar's technical advisor? With 4 fit props in the squad we have Fitz Tickle Luaki (spelling) and Westerman in the back 3.

Am I due an apology

:BLAH: We still don't know if Radford is gunna play, but Cunningham could be on the bench instead of Lyne, so sorry

Strange, that would make no sense at all, rather have Manu there!

Can only think it's down to a bit of extra pace or maybe defensive qualities. Either way I'd rather have briscoe there and risk lynne on the wing

Likewise. I'm still not convinced by Agar's selections at all.

Why bring in a youngster in his natural position when you can move 1/2 the team around.

To be fair to agar this is tanseys fault not his. With tansey playing I would have been quite confident but with all the moves we'll make as a result I can't see beyond a rovers win

While the immediate root cause is Tansey leaving I'm not confident of Agar making the best of what he's got available. My biggest reservations about him are actually more to do with things like selection and basic skills rather than tactics or playing style.

Oh well - guess we'll see soon enough.

You mean you've noticed that our seasoned professionals can't actually pass the ball properly?

Or support the ball carrier. Or make dummy runs. Or run good angles most of the time. That's why our 'playing style' is way down my list of concerns - I'd be happy if we played any style consistently and well.

Who knows - maybe we've addressed these glaring deficiencies during the closed season and I'm worrying about nothing.
