Agree with all off that. I think you might sell a few more than that though. I was reading an article about season ticket sales at football clubs recently (the focus was on clubs outside the top flight) and apparently people tend to underestimate the amount of churn - people moving in and out of the area, getting too old/becoming old enough, losing/taking interest. Was the discount period only for renewals?
I've found seeing the pattern of sales quite an interesting 'experiment'. The idea of the milestone prize draws, which I had thought a very clever idea for getting people to buy early and build momentum, didn't really seem to work. Decent enough prizes, but longish odds and I guess either consciously or subconsciously people saw that and it didn't change much.
