Let's be honest, yes we would have loved to reel Rovers in , I doubt there is a Hull fan that wouldn't after all their strutting and our realistic chances of achieving anything else, this year. Good news that Houghton is staying, we need a few experienced players in the team and he's been one of the better players this year

GB after the seven game losing streak I was boyed by our mid season improvement. We won games that we weren't expected to win and even in defeat we put in decent performances. A far cry from recent seasons.

I was looking forward to having a real crack at the play-offs but the usual late season collapse happened and I was disillusioned yet again.

I want to finish above every club but obviously that ain't going to happen any time soon. Bringing Rovers in to the conversation and getting excited by finishing above them is small club mentality something we've mocked Rovers fans for years.
