The confirmed list of depatures means that NINE of the seventeen who played in the first game of the season against Cas won't be at the club in 2024.

If/when we sign Sailor and hopefully add a second rower I would guess our recruitment is done.

Would you be satisfied with this?

Crazy when you think about it, we looked like Penrith Panthers in that 1st half

Id say so, rome wasnt built in a day and there is a shortage of good players in a few positions at the moment. Still likely to be bottom half next season but theres a big difference between in with a shot of 6th come the final round and putting the cue on the rack with weeks of the season to go.

Agree. This season I wasn't expecting Smith to perform miracles but 10th would be very disappointing. The table doesn't lie.

Our overall performances have improved compared to the last couple of years but that's hardly something to get excited about.

We need to be patient but next season we should be aiming for a play off place.

I wonder if some players still under contract could be told they are free to look for other clubs at their end of season review with Smith?

if Sailor comes as a running half like Kelly and we do sign a big decent second row then i would say yes given our limited finance.
At least it seems we have added some size and pace
Would like to see us using the forwards a lot more when coming out of backplay because our wings look like being lightweight and we are losing the strength and power of Swift so we need to change this.
Desperately need another second row though

That wouldn't surprise me. Same for most clubs I'd guess.
