I would take Volkman, but again, more of a 6 than a 7

Can play both, played every game this season for the Warriors NSW team at 7.

There must be 4 or 5 more players to officially announce - Tindall and Ashworth are 2.

There needs to be a half, a 9 and a back rower. And they need to be big names, players who we can really see some encouragement from. If we only announce the first 2, then season passes will be very low.

Would people be happy with Tindall, Ashworth, Volkman/Hawkins, Litten and a Championship back rower?

Not really, but its probably about as good as it gets swap Morgan Smith for Litten too.

I don't see next year been much better TBF.

Lack of leadership is going to be one of our biggest problems next year, was hoping one of our signings would be an Ellis/Swain like figure who commands respect, lifts the players, or keeps them calm on the pitch when things aren't quite going right...apart from Houghton, who either within the current squad or from our new signings will offer this rather than just be stood behind the post hands on hips looking bemused like most of them do?

We haven't had for years, experience doesn't also mean good leadership either, with Gale and Reynolds you couldn't get on paper anymore leadership and experience and look what happened there

Cas are having a clear out. Not much to go off, but I'd take a look at Lawler who'd improve the pack.

Worth a look at Mellor and Sutcliffe as squad options too

Litten  what about Mikey as well? Uncle Tony could persuade SKD out of retirement surely? Sam Wood has signed hasn’t he? Why don’t we throw Abdull in for you as well  blore been finalised yet? Clune? Watson? McClean? Sailor? I’ve never known a club be knocked back by so many signings with all their best players jumping ship.

Sutcliffe can't even get a game for Cas.

Mellor would be ok better than Lane.

Two I'd have is Broadbent and Westy (I know he comes with baggage) but both would improve us massively, doubt either would be available too

He is at Fax with Grix though :CURTAIN:

No way we get Broadbent or Westy as much as I'd want them
