First chance i've had to comment on AP taking over, i was away with work yesterday, thought i'd take a quick peek at this site before an important meeting i was attending, when i say the news it almost screwed everything up for the meeting! I couldn't think straight becuase of the excitement.
As you will tell i think this is an excellent bit of news for us and one that could finally drive us forward. There were two issues for me with the old BOD;
1. They backed Agar to the hilt, almost perversely
2. Them themselves appeared to lack any interest in the club of late (see point 1)
Now point 2 is rectified (welcome AP), point 1 will not happen any longer and we can all be assured we will see either significant improvement from Agar and the team or bye, bye Agar lets see someone else come in.
One final point (well two i guess) hopefully this silly recruitment strategy we have had for coaches over the past 5/6 years is now over (no more unproven assistant cheap options). I guess Agar will have to now bin them photo's he had, unless he is the J Edgar Hoover of sport and has something on Pearson!!!!
I'm one chuffed individual and i may now contemplate renewing my pass for next year (after this years sebatical).
