I'm not saying he definitely wouldn't have longer in him, just that it's a hell of a risk to pay a transfer fee. If he was out of contract, great, but to pay a premium for him and as a statement of intent it's questionable. In fact you make the point yourself about Bradford not turning down the money because of his age.

Also, Price & Civoniceva are among the exceptions rather than the rule, normally forwards seem to retire around 33/34, and we saw with Cusack what a waste of a place they can be when they carry on too long. The very fact that he carries that Bradford pack could well be a factor that ensures he is one of those who finishes earlier.

Dont know how true but somebody has come into work saying they have overheard a rovers director saying we are looking at braith anasta

Can't see it myself, not a position we need. This was rumoured earlier in the year when we did need a half back though.

Can't see the relevance of the Rovers Director. Why would he know more than anyone else???

Unless this is the start of a trolling session to state that adam pearson and Huggy Bear are best mates and tell each other everything.
