Think Hoy will go well next season. He's certainly shown glimpses this season.
Also expect Carlos and Sao to have much better seasons. They will both want a big pre season after not really having one last year.

Think he'll go well based on what ? He spent half the season in the stands or taking photos

And he's probably replacing Clifford

Huge shoes to fill

We are weaker without Clifford and replacing with hoy

Based on watching him play, you should try it sometime. Hoy won't be replacing Clifford either. He will play 6, Truemam, Smith or New signings will play 7.

Lol if was AP I would be ringing Austin, “hello Blake we was interested in giving you a lucrative three year deal, but then I remembered that drop goal when your side was winning by at least sixty points, so fxx off”

Without looking it will be higher than Cator, but it depends on what you want a tackle machine who makes no metres, breaks or is involved in no trys or an attacking LF.

I'd bet Westerman handles the ball at least twice as much as Cator, so will always make more errors.

Definitely need more attacking threat from LF, Cator doesn't look to have that in his game, should be a squad player next year.

I agree with your point about creativity, i just think westermans totally the wrong type for our newly developing culture and environment. Really would like to see Sao or Staveley given a run there personally, and its looking like in a season or two kye Armstrong might put a good claim in for the spot.

On the SH front there really is no need to panic, id rather us wait then jump in on a panic buy. Players come available at any givrn point so who knows.

If we are in for a back rower from the Championship , there is one player that has close ties with Tony Smith and Simon Grix. That is Matty Gee.

I totally agree,
What's the point in trying to create a new culture at the club ,
and then sign a player such as Westerman?
Granted we have not retained players such as Connor, Griffin, Wynne,Savelio, but there are reasons, and the reasons are not obviously based on ability.

Still think Westerman would be ideal for us if we could get him for a season
Both Cator and Lane should be squad players next season.
The club should be trying to offload at least one of them before next season

We are desperate for a second row, need a halfback but have only one overseas quota spot
Hoy looks destined to be our first choice six and depending on when the club expect Trueman to be back on the field may decide which way they go.
Tuimavave could be key here.
If the club see any mileage moving him into the second row then they may opt for a halfback or the other short term option would be using him with Hoy in the halfs until Trueman is back
