It was rubbish that report and the sort of stuff that does no good for the Club at all. I guess in the end we'll never have a definitive answer perhaps there isn't one. Perhaps it was a bit of a lot of things. Ive heard loads of stories Frank wanted to play again in the NRL, he didn't think he could do two more years here, he could do one over there with his brother which he's always wanted to do the family preferred to go home we wanted to spend the money elsewhere etc etc In fact everything except that we waited till he was on holiday etc etc As the face of the Club he was magnificent in every thing he did last year and for that alone I wish him well but that only lasts so long and he was hardly a marquee signing on the field was he?
Didn't realise theyd changed it... Hopefully a load of rubbish then. Would have been a shame when you think of the praise the club got releasing Sika and Frank for their international.

did frank want to leave fc or did fc pay him off so they could sign albert kelly
To be honest stuff in Up the Cream can be taken with a pinch of salt as its just a fanzine and gossip column.
I don't believe for one minute the club have poorly treated Frank as letting him go to Captain his country rather have him play a massive cup tie is evidence to that.
I would hazard a guess that Frank had probably been approached by the Eels and then spoken to LR & AP along the lines that he had a desire to go back and play one more year in the NRL etc. So AP & LR will have then made alternative plans and not wanted to stand in the way of Frank wish to go back home. He came here and won a Challenge Cup medal so maybe that also swayed him about heading home. Maybe there was indeed more to the rumour last year before he arrived that he'd wasnt' going to come, he may have come as he gave his word and spoke to AP/LR about only doing a season? who knows as its all specualtion and conjecture.
I just can't see the club, AP or LR saying 'on ya bike' and no doubt it will have been in the pipeline for a while and been amicably done.
For me he came and did what was needed and brought that big game attitude to the club and his larger than life persona both on and off the field was massive. Some may say he didnt live up to expectations as he wasn't ripping up trees in every game etc but for me he more than played his part as a marquee signing and no doubt will be missed around the club.

I think everyone liked Frank.Always a smile on his face but from what i see no one is gutted that he has gone. I certainly think it was all pre arranged with Hull FC before he left as he was in training at Parra within days of arriving and actually signed on the 2/11/16 as i previously posted.
The club's website comment on frank indicates to me that maybe this was initiated by frank and the club weren't impressed or that maybe there has been some falling out behind the scenes,. You'd think the club would be putting more of a positive spin on it really and saying a proper goodbye to one of the cup winning team
Personally think we were just a stop gap as we couldn't afford to keep him for next season and be under the cap. The 'contract'if by normal understanding of it within RL circles would mean Hull FC receiving recompense to release him early right?
That doesn't seem to be the case, and if not, why not unless it was already on the cards long before any rumour.

I honestly think on this one we can stop looking for a story and let it pass by When they have a reunion in 10 years time he'll be cheered Again by fans Move on and don't look for gossip as none of us will ever know what the facts were
I'm more concerned that the RFL valued Andy Dannat at 80 Grand And Lee jackson 83 Grand when the Hetheringtons stole him from us
Pritchard's wife responded on Twitter to Bulldogs fans asking why he hadnt gone there, and she replied to say that 'The Dogs said no' - so i dont know if Frank was approaching teams, or Hull had passed him round
