Pritchard's wife responded on Twitter to Bulldogs fans asking why he hadnt gone there, and she replied to say that 'The Dogs said no' - so i dont know if Frank was approaching teams, or Hull had passed him round
Interesting that, maybe seeing Franks performances on pitch for us, the Doggies thought he'd already peaked whilst with them ? We'll see if he re-captures that star player form with the Eels.
On what we saw last season I think Lee/ Adam have made the right call for the club. Its a good opportunity and incentive for fringe players to step up.
I'd heard that his lad didnt make hull academy selection and it wasnt worth him going to college as he'd only be halfway through when franks deal was up so a family decision. I don't buy the idea that hull instigated it as another 2 yrs of good money on the tabe for frank. If he didn't want to leave why would he. Not to go to parra on less.

You might not buy it but I'm afraid time will tell that we did instigate it in the interests of the Club and so I guess we all have to trust that it was the right decision and move on.

Maybe so...but can't have been much resistance if so on franks part. If im frank with 200 k + a year deal for 3 years and the club want me to leave the last 2 so I end up with a 1 yr and on less money I tell them to go get you know what'ed!! Unless I'm up for it
There really isn't much of a conspiracy behind Franks move. From what I understand, loved it in Hull, but despite enjoying his time here, his family and he felt homesick. Got an approached. Asked Hull for release. Obviously Hull not particarly happy, but accepted it. At the same time, realised there was an opportunity to swoop for Kelly. Announcement is cool as the club wants to keep the positive momentum of last season.
I'm sure we will see Frank on the occasional visit, he seemed to love his time here. I wish him and his family all the best for what it is worth, but I think looking at the more downbeat style of play which I think is evidence of the home sickness, that this is fair business for both parties.

He got picked to represent Yorkshire though, that's a load of rubbish about his lad he brought him over GCSE year.
For me the brief statement from the club speaks volumes.
Why didn't it include a quote from Frank saying how he'd had a great time, thanked the fans, but that it was a great opportunity to play one season with his brother etc...
That it didn't may suggest there wasn't mutual happiness!
