It's certainly a strange one, my take on it not that's it's worth much

Purtill brought in to sort out attack out with glowing praise from Pearson, but also as a sword held over Radford after some disappointments

Last previously not made it clear he fancied the job

Purtill edged out to coach the reserves by Radford.

Radford sacked

Last makes it known fancy a a go at it.

See how last goes, with Purtill now allowed to coach as originally intended

If Last doesn't do the business, Purtill gets the gig.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

What are the facilities like compared with Saints, Wigan and you know who? But I'm glad A Last is gonna have a shot at it.

Where did the story that he was brought in to coach our attack come from?

Seems very odd to bring a coach in solely to coach the reserves especially one as highly rated as Purtill, didn't Pearson state he wanted specialist coachs brought in to help coach attack and defence.

You obviously didn't read the link I posted.

And this from the club website.....

Purtill, who is one of the highest qualified coaches in the country, is a new Assistant Coach at Hull FC, where he will focus on attacking structures, as well as taking the lead role with the club’s Emerging Talent Squad.

This will also include the head coach role of the club’s reserves team, utilising his extensive experience in this field to help bring through the next generation of young players.

Good balanced message. And the opportunity for anyone to register for a virtual members meeting on Weds with James Clarke if they have any questions about memberships, the restart or the club more generally. Hope they get a good take up.
