Agreed Paul nothing wrong with Tompkins 1st try. If you look at anything long enough you will start to to convince yourself that things are wrong with it, watch it in real time his momentum never stops it's all one movement.

I watched it in real time, I was there! And I said from the second he scored it was DM.

He stretched his arm out to score. That stretch is the second movement. He was already tackled, so had no right to make that stretch. It's a completely separate movement. If it was all one movement he'd have landed on his front with the ball by his chest.

bullshit ,watch it on sky super slow ,ball carrying arm does touch the ground ,and Lauaki does not have to move wigans player making wrong choice trying to run through a brick wall ,obst never ran round Lauaki ,if this is the case then all dummy runners are now obstructing :FRUSRATED: :FRUSRATED:

Ball carrying arm does touch the ground however momentum is not stopped and the tackle is not completed.

The obstruction was given because the dummy runner stopped in the defensive line which he is not permitted to do. If he had carried on going forward another 5 yards it would have been fine. Harsh IMO but them's the rules.

PS. Good hard game from you lot last night. Has you not hit the self destruct button for 10 mins in the first half you'd have probably won it.

The full length Richards try was a head high shot on Radders, hence the broken jaw, 12 point swing there for a start!!

It was a clash of heads watch the video.

Sam Tomkins try should have been an eight point try, Jordan Turner comes in with his feet two seconds after Tomkins scores.

Obst try the emphasis is on the attacking player to withdraw from the line, thus Lauaki was obstructing.

but Lauiki was stood still, he never moved into anybodys way. i thought a few decisions went against Hull last night, but you expect that against the top sides IMO.

Joking apart, but dont you think "its the refs fault" is wearing a bit thin, thought you played well last night but how can you blame the ref for the loss of posession or turners brain storm.?

That was the problem by him standing still in the attacking line he causes the obstruction. If he had retreated or continued to run forward it would have been fine.

was it turner? if so my mistake, still cost us 6 points regardless

No offence, but if you're mixing up Whiting and Turner, people may not trust your view of the game entirely. :D

Luaki was stood still most of the time he was on the field !!

IF we have any hope of improvement next year he needs trading in for a major upgrade !!

Utter waste of a quota spot, ran hard'ish for about three carries, aimlessly wandered across the gain line without fooling any defenders, oh and cost us a try.

Usual numty penalty in front of posts.

He got flattened once when his usual stop at the gain line approach wasn't matched by a committed defender.

If we keep him that will give good indication of our ambition !

no offence, but it is easy to get a name wrong when you have your head in your hands whilst your own players are throwing the ball about on their own try line!

didnt realise you was the font of all rugby knowledge and never made a mistake!

It was a try that's why it was awarded.
