Well, for a start, if I was going to offer reduced ticket prices, I wouldn't do it for a game where we'd get our highest attendance of the season regardless. If you say you'll do family tickets elsewhere because W1 and W2 have sold out, then it follows that you should offer £19 tickets elsewhere if the South Stand has sold out. For a game like Rovers, it would probably be more profitable for the club to sell 19000 tickets at full price than it would be to sell 23000 at a reduced price. Particularly when you take into account the deal with the SMC that Kosh mentioned earlier.
As it happens, I probably wouldn't offer reductions for any game. The crowds will return gradually when they see a period of sustained improvement - success will be more of a factor than the odd game being reduced to £15, or whatever. We're only a few games into the reign of AP, McRae and Gentle, and it will take longer than that for the floating support to return. We (the fans and the club) will have to be patient.
