Dont agree with what you say
seen the incident,re run several times.Problem was the ref seemed faster than Sutcliffe when following the attack and in reality when running back Sutcliffe should have had the pace to get in front of him.
Ran into him for no reason
Its just another Hull FC player showing indicipline
Not sure I agree, having watched it plenty of times now it look to me as though Griffith stumbles either by loss of his footing in the very wet surface or when you watch his movement and right leg it looks to me that he moves to the right and actually clips his legs with Sutcliffe who does seem to try and react to grab him.
The speed at which Griffith is running in relation to Sutcliffe for me is no issue but you have to ask why a referee would take up the position of running directly in the attacking line of the Warrington players rather then being slightly behind the play. Had the ball reached the nearest Warrington player, Griffiths would have been a line blocker for them. As I said in a previous post it just shows how poor the standard and lack of understanding of the game the official has.
If Griffith or even Moore as the VR had deemed Sutcliffe had made intentional contact with the ref he would more than likely have been carded at the time. For the MRP to say it was deliberate and intentional is a stretch as they can not ascertain that at all and this is the problem with the way they operate.
