Yeah but he did nothing with Wigan..... Well apart from take them from relegation haunted to a game from the play off final.

Pearson has said Agar is his man, to avoid himself looking stupid Pearson will wait till the end of the season to then say along the lines of "what I've seen has made me think we could do with a fresh change at coaching level" then he will get rid of Agar.

If he is a rubbish coach he may fit in well at this club.

didn't anderson go back home for family reasons? not even sure he had a coaching job lined up back in oz at the time

for that reason, i doubt we will see anderson back in the uk for a long time, hope im wrong

Did he, though? I thought he said Agar was the most important man as he was the coach, i.e. he was saying that the coach is paramount.

Thought it was said to reassure us after the previous regime made it clear they thought a good team made success and the coach was not important?

He did. Pearson emphasised how important the coach was in the organisation not necessarily Agar.
