I remember reading Mcintosh and Trout are good mates, might not be much of an advantage when trying to sign a player but every little helps as they say.

I know it's the local rag but I'm sure I read it that the club are looking to offload McIntosh early .

Yeah it was implied that even though he is under contract we would be looking to move him on

I spoke to him at the Derby match,I was a guest of a regular club sponsor and his attitude was appalling,sulky,made it clear he wasn't interested in fulfilling his role of chatting with the clubs sponsors. If he shows that attitude day in and day out then he can go today for me,sulking and acting like a moody 13 year old. I was quite shocked and that's not easily done.

Hopefully this no nonsense approach from Smith will give some others the kick up the backside they need, if you show a poor attitude (allegedly) then your out the door, no matter how good you are.
