You cant compare coaching at SL level to a amateur side.

How long ago was Millward ?

It would be a very weird transition from playing alongside a player to having them telling you what to do, its the same reason why Andy Last shouldn't get promoted to assistant coach.

I see where you're coming from with Radford being a current player, but Last is a little different. There are only a couple of players left in the squad who played alongside him, but a bunch of youngsters who have had him as their coach for a while, so there are actually more players who are already used to having him tell them what to do.

How true Mine was Different I was a Driving Instructor in the Army and I was given a Captain to teach I was putting the L plates on the vehicle when the RSM was passing I took them off me and gave them to the Officer and told him it was his job because my duty was to teach him to drive and it was his job to take orders from me and rank didn't count ..It was funny both of us calling the RSM yes SIR. He made it plain who was the boss

Well, it's a bit quiet so far !

Especially as it was supposed to be a massive week of announcements/signings !! People "in the know" again ?
