Tanginoa looked pretty impressive for Wakey the first half of the season when he first arrived, but then seemed to be in and out the team on a regular basis for one reason or another and seemed to have regular injury issues. Granted he was played as a forward a number of times which don't think suited his ability. A new club might be a kick start for him but for me he's a bit like Satae in that he has a really great game and is then anonymous for the next 3 or 4 or is injured.
Will be interesting to see if we do bring in another back rower before the end of the year.
Tanginoa is a forward, a really good back-row forward but because of team injuries and silly calls by Coaches, they played him too much at prop, when he was one of the most destructive wide-running backrowers. He went from being in the 2020 dream team in the back row, to then in the proceeding years, even though he still played over 20 games a year, he was starting to pick up more and more different injuries, especially when used at prop. In turn, his form gradually just wasn't the same as it was. Eventually, in 2023 he played 7 games and became a bit of a luxury at Trinity, seeing as he was one of the more well-paid players on the books. He was awesome those first couple of years or so but unfortunately, he wasn't used in his best position, and that must have had an effect on his injury situation being used as a middle, smashing it in.
