I don't get Salford, one minute they're crying poverty, next minute they're signing new players and inviting fans on a trip to watch them do their pre season training in Portugal

I don't understand why anyone would sign for Salford under the clubs current financial climate . There's been plenty of horror stories regarding clubs who were in a similar position and players not getting paid .
The stadium fiasco isn't helping their cause either . I hope I'm wrong but the near future of the club doesn't look good at all .

Luis Johnson has been mentioned a fair bit on here - he has signed for Castleford.

Will be very surprised if we bring anyone else in now.
Think Ashworth and Scott will be used in the second row with Staveley, Jebson and Severs to play there too.

Same here, I don't think it was announced at the time. I'm surprised he's gone as he was highly rated.

I thought I saw him on a retained list at the start of pre season strange one letting hm go but you don't know what has gone between him and the club I guess that said, I always thought there was something there when I watched him play quite exciting with the ball I thought.

As COYU has said he was rated by the club so it is indeed a surprise he's left the club but also been no apparent mention by the club.

The release of Wacokecoke has certainly gone under the radar which for me seems a shame as like Pete says he looked to have something about him.
