Pearson also says seeing how player movements happen in rugbly league has been unique and frustrating with players announcing midseason that the are leaving.

With Gareth Ellis and Joe Arundel two of the six new faces confirmed for next season, Hull are keeping their powder dry with regard to announcing further new recruits.

Is it 6 + ellis and watts, or 6 including ellis and watts, or 6 youngsters + ellis + 2 unannounced?

My guess would be 6 in total including arundell and ellis for 2013.

6 in total it would seem. A N Other would appear to be the biggest signing of the lot bar Ellis. Never thought much to him at the Boulevard to be honest.

I read that as Arundel and Ellis are 2 of the 6 but Watts isn't - which makes sense as Watts is here now and nor coming next season. Although he also says that he can't tell us the names of the 6 coming in, and that would seem to exclude Arundel and Ellis as they've already been announced.

It's also suggested that the 2 'high profile' signings would be in addition to the 6 already sorted. So that would indicate a minimum of Arundel + Ellis + 4 others + 2 more for 8 total.

Slightly confusing but positive overall.
