I hope the fans that went, and fair play to them !!! , gave the team a big hand after the match.
Great effort
Now let’s get on a winning run starting with a team in more chaos than Robers next Sat
ps love kr v leigh next week as well
We went and now wish we hadn’t - car got keyed full near side and it was a proper gouge , needs a full job doing the entire length of the car and to cap everything I copped a blow out at South Cave . One of those nights for me .

ive never liked the golden point farce, even when sneyd was popping them over.in league games why cant our game be satisfied with the odd draw.would have been a good point to get tonight.
totaly agree fosdyke99,a draw is a draw, lets leave it that way.a 1point for a draw could prove to be a benifit come the end of the season or in the CC or grand final.

The other option would be to give both teams a point, and then play on for the winner to gain an extra point.
But in general I dont like the idea, there werent ever many draws in a season anyway.
I could only follow the game intermitently on social media as I was away until today.
Seems like a decent effort but in vain in the end. I know we havw had a few golden point wins in recent seasons like Wigan away and Catalans away but it's a poor way to lose a game. If it must be kept why not two points for the win and one for a defeat so in other words a draw at the end of eighty minutes and a bonus point for the winning score.
It is, of course, absolute nonsense to suggest that we have nothing to play for in terms of the play offs.We can still make them even if we lose at St Helens. Clearly we'll have a better idea after the Warrington game but win that and we still have a decent chance and then as we saw in 2020, Rovers in 2021 and Salford in 2022 you can finish sixth, win a one off away game in the play offs and be eighty minutes away from Old Trafford.
Going back to golden point it's interesting to note that we have not yet scored a drop goal this season and we only kicked two last year (Connor and Gale). If we are to sign an overseas half back hopefully it'll be one with this skill.

I've thought this ever since golden-point was introduced to league games. If you are level after 80 minutes then a team should get some reward as technically they haven't lost.
I understand the modern-day need for sport to have a winner and loser come what may, and in cup football/rugby there is a need to remove replays out of the calendar given the concern with player welfare, but in regard to league games I think it needs reviewing.
As for last night, I don't quite know what to think. I wasn't expecting a win, given our poor record there down the years, but to come so close to what would undoubtedly have been a bonus win in our push for a top-six spot feels agonizing. Think we have to take the positives forward from a gutsy performance and push on over the next four weeks.
In the end we narrowly fell short in a weekly league game, it's not as if we had to suffer losing a major cup final in golden-point time, is it!!!

Bad luck that Super Alf, we parked in Asda car park, think the lad booked it pre online, so I suppose it’s a lottery regarding numptys who get kicks from these antics.
Regarding the game, in golden point, Liam Marshal seemed to knock on in a critical point of the game and was just overlooked, did these old eyes see that wrong.
Terrible conditions for quality football, and even our valiant defence and desire wasn’t enough, for me we were guilty of poor game management and wrong kicking options, we missed a Sneyd last night.
Some have said two poor teams, but for me it was two teams in different stages of their development, Hull are just improving incredibly well regarding the change in attitude and culture, and for me that’s a mountain climbed, everything else is a bonus, possibly same culture next year, with fresh bodies to push on further.
And I know this will get me some pelters, I don’t understand why the referee, who was born in Wigan, on a night of nearly a full fixture list, could not have been scheduled to a less parochial fixture, not saying he favoured the pies, and as I said our kicking and game management was dumb at times, but it takes any collusion or speculation out the equation. Apologies if I’m wrong on the refs birthplace.

Your not and he is useless. In fact all the officials were poor just like both teams.
