A shame Mahe's return hasn't worked out. For me it doesn't overshadow what he did in his first spell. He won the Cuo twice, scored three times at Wembley and was twice selected for the dream team. It will be strange seeing him in a Castleford shirt. I hope he gets a decent reception when he returns to the MKM. Frankly if you boo him, you're a moron.

It's better for us to have reached a settlement figure with Mahe too.

It means we won't have a % of his salary tied up on the cap

Always be remembered by me for his Wembley and late derby heroics, when he was a great asset to the team. Lee Radford is either far too loyal or forgetful, though as he now has signed two wingers from us who are probably the slowest in SL, it didn't work at Hull so why will it at Cas?

I'll wish him well. He come over as an unknown and was fantastic in his first spell.

Earned himself another shot at the NRL. we offered him crazy money to come back and he snapped our hand off.

It hasn't worked out this time round as much as we all wanted it to.

His departure means we can address other areas of the squad.

Good luck at Cas, as long as he remembers to drop a few balls when we face each other

As for Kane Evans, well I'm willing to give him a chance. The NZW fans may be bagging him but that happens when a player leaves a club.

A one year contract with an option in the club's favour for another year would be good business. I know he's had disciplinary issues recently but he'll come knowing that as a thirty year old any more problems and that's the end of his professional career. Before the Warriors he played NRL for seven years and is a regular for Fiji so he presumably can play a bit.

With Radford, Last, Fonua and Faraimo heading to Cas plus Westerman and Watts involved I'd say it's nailed on that we'll play them in round one next season.

Right decision on Fobua, shame it hasnt worked out, been really poor and a poor attitude.

Not convinced by Evan's signing which looks likely, but willing to give him a chance.
