| Hall broke into first team football a couple of years ago because of injuries in the Hull backs. He was a raw, precocious talent and very, very young. It's only two years since then and it's easy to forget that he moved up[ into the first team because of need rather than him ousting better players. He is a wonderful attacking player and will get better in defence with time. I think his flair and self belief might make him develop into a great 6 in the future.

| Craig Hall has the potential to be one of the best in the Superleague.
Don't make the mistake Wigan made with Brown, Wild, Aspinwall etc, by overplaying them at too young an age.
If they are not mature enough mentally, they they think that they have "made it".
Then, when they make a few mistakes, the crowd gets on their backs, and their confidence suffers.
They then make more mistakes and it's a downward spiral.
Tommy Lee, anyone.

| Quote The Hollywood Frasier="The Hollywood Frasier"Unless there is a drastic change of mindset from Agar with regards to allowing attacking flair i can never see Hall flourishing whilst Agar or any other play the percentages coach is at the helm.
The amount of times last season he made half breaks or got his arms free in the tackle and yet no players were pushing up on the play was ridiculous. Fair enough he makes mistakes however it would be interesting how many of those mistakes came from other players been lazy and no offering any support when they should be.'"
Hall has to play, its as simple as that. With Horne and Crocker on his side he will have more defensive protection. Yes he will make mistakes but I would still play him.

| I'm having a similar discussion with our St. Helens friends with regards to Darrell Goulding.
He and Craig Hall played together for England academy, and like Hall has not developed quite as fast as we would have liked. However he is still only 20 years of age.
Give the kids a break. Ease them in gently (Goulding played 19 games last season) and they will come through.

| It's interesting how no one is mentioning just how awful Yeamans positioning can be. His wembley appearance was extremely Hallesque, culpable for 2 of their tries but bombed out of the line to intercept and go the length. Hall has to be perservered with, he has somehting in abundance that not many of our 3/4s have had over the last 20 years. There's no substitute for pace and for a centre he's still extremely young.
