We've had 8 seasons of broken promises and utter tripe served up so for me I will wait until the end of the season to judge.
Yes the signs are very promising from the opening two fixtures but lets not get carried away peeps, we have been here so many times before.
Credit to AP for funding the club, Motu for the recruitment & Radford for the performances so far but it is still far to early to be getting the bunting out.
Gordon Bennett, a major upturn this last two games and still fans are having twitchy bums. I think the difference between now and the recent past is the team spirit seems high, as is the will to win. Barring injuries I reckon the team will improve immensely when they get to know each others play better. Having seen as many false dawns as everybody on here I truly believe we are going to be a force this season. Have faith.
I think it's a bit too early to be worrying about missed tackle stats. We are one of a group of 6 in the 50's.
Leeds have missed fewer tackles than us, but have the worst defensive record in the league.
True, it's very early. As you say, a few teams have over 50 already, but we've made nearly 150 tackles less than the next side, so as a % it's pretty high. As high as our poor relations at 13% (Wire are at 4%). Something for the coaching staff to look into anyway, but not something to be overly worried about really, I just like stats
Why do some people find it hard to enjoy the current positiveness at the club? During the last 2 seasons people have been justifiably critical of our attack close to the opponents line, some even suggesting that winning some close games was due to LUCKILY having a decent defense. Now albeit for the last 3 matches we are scoring all types of tries with great attacking shape and variation yet some still need to point out our tackling inadequacies. I'm coming to the conclusion even 40-0 victories with no errors would not be enough to satisfy some.
Two games in and after two good performances after many bad seasons and the happy clappers are out in force with their told you sos which is fairly laughable tbh. Being an FC fan should of at least taught you not to EVER get carried away. As quick as things seem to be turning good they can equally turn bad. Radford and Pearson have done lots wrong over the last two years and beyond and two comfortable wins does not make up for that in any way. Lets see where we are at the end of the season before we all start lauding them both i reckon
Happy clappers? If the club antagonists are bringing that line up that can only be more evidence of a cracking start by the lads.

I'm more than satisfied with the last two games, I imagine everyone is, just discussing something Wilde brought up regarding one of the facets of our game. Relax.

Don't think anyone from what I've read is unhappy with the start so this season they are all myself included being realistic. We have seen the best rugby we've seen for over 8 seasons but in those seasons we've had times when we thought we'd turned the corner then have flattered to deceive.
I am cautiously optimistic and in all fairness have not seen anything from other teams to have us unduly worried., but as I said in my original post we have not won anything yet and are only 2 games in. I would love nothing more than to see our great club achieve a trophy this season but just don't want to get myself too carried away after 2 league games.

This is exactly how I see it. I get called pessimistic by my lad, but at 20 years old he's not had to endure the years of hope and heartbreak I have! Yes, we are looking much better than in recent years and for once I am excited for the next game, not dreading it. However, we have thought we've turned a corner many times over the last few years so I will reassess come Easter when we have hopefully strung together a few more wins and tightened up the defence issues we have all seen.
After all, Wakey won their first 2 games last season
