Really glad Gelling isn't playing just wish Williams and Bateman weren't either. There the only players in worried about this Friday. As for our own, we're going to miss Watts go forward and offloads.

Dom Crosby went off injured on Friday with a recurrence of an arm injury and is expected to miss out so I'm guessing we'll line up-

Tomkins
Manfredi Sarginson Gildart Tierney
Williams Smith
Flower Powell Mossop
Isa Bateman O'Loughlin

Subs- Sutton Tautai Bretherton Shorrocks

Clearly way off our strongest side with 7 guaranteed starters plus Nuuausala missing but I'm sure we'll give it a crack.

Looking forward to it.

What would be your strongest line up if everyone was fit ?

Was thinking the same thing. From that line up

Tomkins
Manfredi
Gildart
Williams
Smith
Flower
Mossop
Isa
Bateman
O'Loughlin
Tautai
Sutton

would all be in the 17

Maybe the previous 20 odd weeks have been a cunning plan to lull the unsuspecting opposition into a false sense of security for when the big matches come around and Friday is the first big match of the season.

It's going to need to. I'm hopeful tbh because in our biggest game so far this year (the last round against Cas) we were very slick with the ball in the first half and it was clearly the best we'd played all year.

We need to replicate that for 80 minutes this week but in truth that may not be enough because clearly Hull are a far better side.

Wane loves Joel Tomkins and in truth I wouldn't be surprised if he still had him starting in a full strength Wigan team. He is a very good player to be fair when fit but he's been struggling with injuries to both his knees. The only change I could potentially see to that side would be Powell coming in for either Crosby or Sutton so it's 6 at best buy more then likely 7 missing (plus Nuuausala).

It's been the same all year though and we've no excuses. The squad depth is good and the 17 on the field on Friday are good enough to compete.

How good would a Hull Wakey final be, don't have to share pubs with any Lancashire ba$t4rds :thumb:

Yes that would be good, but if we win there can't be any Lancy fans there as Wire are in Cheshire.
