How could Hewer possibly think that should be sent up as a try when McShane quite clearly kicked from behind Watts. Should never have even needed sending up.

Actually played some good off the cuff rugby second half (I didn't see any of the 1st so can't comment).
Made plenty of good opportunities we were probably just lacking better strike players like Kelly, Connor, Griffin been on the end to finish it off.

Some positives to take from that. Thought Litten's energy really helped and some much better individual performances. If we could get Kelly, Connor and Miloudi as off-the-cuff talent shoe-horned in there with Sneyd back in the halves and Westerman at loose that would certainly help creativity. Carlos very good tonight. Can't fault the effort.

The main difference was we kept some defensive shape.Jamie Shaul looked full of energy tonight.
Yes better effort from the team but lets not forget Castleford never had to get out of second gear
