Whilst a derby when anything can, and does, happen it looks like the wheel of fortune has certainly favoured Hull this Easter. Despite assurances from your more vocal fans about HKR having good news about Tony Smith's tenure and the extended signing of Minchella, this seems to have not materialised despite only four hours to kick off. Indeed HKR have received a hammer blow with news that Matt Parcell has obtained an NRL gig for next season and their standout player Mickey Lewis being ruled out for several weeks and last minute injury tests on a couple of players named in the squad. Garratt, who i was looking forward to see playing Super League also ruled out. With Hull having major boosts with Savellio taking a miracle cure and enigmatic CT returning to centre in Hull's strongest line up of the season i think most neutral fans will be putting their hard earned on a fairly comfortable FC victory, in what, as always, will be a loud Craven Park later today.
It’s a Derby and at Craven Park part deux, your painting Rovers as the underdogs but I think the betting franchises say different. Generally speaking these games are close fought and anyones. Personally, I’ve attended home and away for the best part of 50 years, my first away was with Dad in 1964 but I dislike them, too much internal agro, and unless it’s an FC win, to draining to enjoy. I no longer attend away games, even those when offered free tickets and parking
Hope everyone has a good day. C’mon u Ull.
