Saints released him ( they let him go to cas on loan in his last season ! )
Wouldn't get in saints team now that's miles better than when Savelio played for them
This is the problem our fans think our players are better than they are
Savelio is ok but injury prone that's why I'd get rid

You might want to get rid of him and and sign a better player but the salary cap needs to be taken into account.
Savelio is a risk injury wise but he is a very good player.
Agreed, the only issue with Savelio is his injury record and the associated risk, for the right deal he is very much worth the gamble.
We can't realistically replace every player in one off season unless someone comes along with a shed full of money and the player pool available somehow expands.
Think we definitely need to realistically and at the very least look at 3 new quota players to replace Evans, Lovodua and Sao, 2 line breaking/metre making forwards, a quality 2nd rower, a 9 if Balmforth isn't ready and/or Dwyer doesn't stay and find some pace out wide.
I'd be very surprised if TS hadn't already started the process of potential targets for the off season reshuffle even before he was officially announced.
