Did TS sign Vete, Sims & Takarangi or were they already signed when he went to Rovers ? Can’t for the life of me think who was there before him ? Sheens ?
Shaul shouldn't play FB again nevermind hooker. FWIW I do think Bonaire is a Hull fan, just a really miserable person, who looks for the negatives, interesting he mentions pensioners, I presumed he was an old man/women who likes to moan, I actually have an image of Victor Meldrew in my head.
Any new rumours today, so far the have, well ones I've seem or heard anyway.
SKD Dupree Mcmeeken Halton Trout Whitebread Fitzgibbon O Donnell
SKD - would be a ridiculous signing in my opinion and a waste of a quota spot.
Dupree - would be a class signing but can’t imagine salford letting him go.
Mcmeeken - very good signing, just checked only 28, though he was early 30’s. Good option in front of back row.
Halton - should only be a steady squad player but what does that say to our youth. Big step up from lane though.
Trout - another class signing, right age and unreal potential
Whitebread - steady signing, good in D but not best go forward. Would prefer Mcmeeken, Trout and Dupree over him. Would use quota spot.
Fitzgibbon - Think he could be a revelation in SL. Not sure on his leadership quality but a few years ago he was mentioned as captain potential in NRL
O Donnell - Another great option, good pedigree and class age. Worth a quota spot.
Makatoa - don’t know loads about him, doesn’t player big minutes by looks but works hard. I’d rather use quota spots on back rowers. All the 3 domestic props on this list are proven in SL and a better age.
Think I’m living in dream land here but:
Bringing in Mcmeeken, Trout, Dupree, O’Donnell, fitzgibbon, leeming and Walters
To replace: Shaul, Taylor, Evans, Savelio, Lovodua, Vulikijapani, Wynne, Houghton, Griffin, Ferreira, Dwyer and hopefully lane.
The squad would be a lot smaller but a lot better in terms of quality. Just depends if they think players like Stavely and Balmforth are ready to step up.
If we could get them cheap enough I’d really consider keeping Houghton, Griffin and Taylor. - If we can bring in 3 props we wouldn’t need tag - I think we need 3 new second rowers if we’re able to offload lane so I’d consider keeping griffin in that situation. Question is, would griffin or Halton be cheaper. - Hooker is the issue for us I think. A dirt cheap Houghton could support Leeming and Balmforth. He’s a lot more rounded player than Dwyer and would he cheaper on the cap.

If Swift is leaving then we also need two wings with some pace.
You just can’t resist having a nibble, can you. I’ve no problem anyone posting, provided they stick to the guidelines, including you. The rash of so called Dobbins camping out on this forum, continually and deliberately trolling has to stop, unfortunately we only have one Mod, who hasn’t been around for a while and I hope the reasons aren’t serious. Me and my pensioner mates have obviously been around for a loooooong time, I hope you manage to do it but your apoplexy may well get the better of your well being. Rovers have been poor for decades and deserve their day in the Sun but don’t expect me to cheer them on. You constantly try to undermine anything positive about FC, then gush all over KR the minute they appear to have turned a corner, MMMMMM what does that tell me?
What does it tell you? that you are clairvoyant? Regarding KR fans trolling you cant have it both ways. There are certain people on here who deliberately troll posters on this forum including myself. You only have to look at the posters who have responded to my comments on your original post. Its just the usual Dads Army. I really dont mind meaningful debated criticism from anyone including you but FC is also my club and i will say what i want negative or positive. Apart from Clifford and an emerging talent in Litten and some effort put into the clubs youth teams there is very little positive about the club at the moment. When i see a team on the field that consistantly wins matches and entertains, that doesnt carry three or four players who would not get into most other S/L teams ill let you know Until then
Bonaire it's not that people troll you. It's because your funny . There's a difference. You are very much entitled to your view but if people find them funny etc then don't spit your dummy out.

I think you probably meant to say "full of his own importance".

Kenny dowall is better than any of our wingers and apart from Sutcliffe would be our best centre aswell
sure people are writing him off cause he plays for them
He's a good player age is irrelevant
Remember last season people saying they wouldn't have mcqueen for his age still one of the best 2nd row In SL

Don't think anyone has written SKD off because he plays for Rovers. It's a big gamble to sign a 36 year old winger. Similar to iff we signed Ryan Hall.
What makes it more of a gamble is he's a quota player. If he signs for Hull, I'll get behind him, he'll improve our exit sets he still eats metres for fun. Smith will have a close bond with him, but it's still a deal I wouldn't do

This^^^^^ too old and a precious quota spot wasted
