Only problem I can see is AP saying we want a experienced half back to work with Rankin and Miller so that would rule out Sneyd and favour the Dureus rumours

Just put that on another thread.....AP says they have that tied up with them 2 plus another 2 backs on £200.000 each...he wonders how they are going to fit the rest on the cap...Morley,Hock,Raperia will have a tidy sum tied up with them as we'll.

Dobson is coming to the point in his career when injuries are more likely, he also started young and and taken a few physical batterings behind a less than great dobbins pack. A proven high class Super League player - yes. But is it worth putting all your cash on him now and trusting that he can continue at that level for the next 2/3 years? Not for me thanks. It will also be interesting to see how he fits in at Salford as his style of play is totally incompatible with Chase.
