Not quite Standee - its common place for Marquee players to ask for clauses in their contracts that state if they are fit, they start - hence Long starting ahead of Obst when Obst was in a vein of form and Long would have been better starting off the bench.

The decision to agree to that clause is down to the coach and whoever negotiates the contracts.

Pomeroy is a decent centre, better than Delaney at Leeds i'd say.

Won't be on big money at Titans so I wouldn't be surprised if they kept him for 3/4 cover or a wing position.

Not sure on that as he was a starter for Brisbane when he left and in and around the Queensland set-up plus with the signings of Idris and Myles they could need to offload players.

O'Carroll has played 20 games in 3 years, including reserves. Would rather have Dowes tbh, at least he can get on the pitch!
