Probably not, but we just needed to be better than Wigan last night and we were.

Exactly! The whole squad will be utilised over the course of the season i am sure but the most important thing for Hull after last year was to get off to a winning start and build confidence.

Agars tactics and selection did that.

Spot on, that was my point. If we play like we did last night we wont win 90% of our games, but if we win 90% of our games and play ugly i wont be too fussed.

The words of fools mean nothing to one who resides in the truth.

I'd keep Hall on the bench because he can cover any of the back positions except scrum half. G.Horne played well for the back end of last season and has started this one brightly and when he gets his act together, Yeamo is almost unstoppable close to the line.

Agree - Hall and Houghton should feature in that game.

Agreed both will have a field day from what I've seen from Celtic this season.

BINGO!!!! G Horne has earnt his place, Yeaman needs to pull his finger out IMO.

Although Yeamo's defence is sound I've often thought he offers little in attack unless he's lucky enough to be fed a break.

Ducks for cover

Great clubman though which counts for a lot IMO.

Since becoming a 1st team regular in 2003 Yeaman has been by far this clubs top try scorer, I would of thought he offers plenty in attack (as well as in defence).

Correct - an inconvenient truth for some though

One of my favourite players, Yeaman. Hull lad, great strength, puts in some massive hits, very difficult to stop near the line, milks the East Stand better than anyone else - what's not to love?

I know the stats - Yeamo's a great finisher. Just not the most creative centre I don't think.

Not that I don't love him - He loves Hull and that's good enough for me.
