What got my pip was you critiscising another poster in your pathetic and sickly defence of Barista.
Last night was a massive dose of reality which has become a familiar theme in the Radford tenure. If you're happy crack on but I'm not.
I'm also guessing the hundreds upon hundreds of people streaming out through the 2nd half were not happy either and Pearson looked far from pleased.

Where did I say I was happy?

It’s not good enough on the field
It’s not good enough off the field
Other than Scott Taylor the pack is either not good enough or too old, that’s if you want to complete at a high level. You can’t lose players like Watts Ellis Fonua and Pritchard and replace them with a Paea Westerman and a Thompson, well you can, but you won’t win many games.
Three years ago it looked like Adam was building us into a top four team, regardless of the coaching on the field with the lack of structure and enthusiasm who is to blame for the structure of the squad?

That was more a question, an assumption more than a statement of fact and one I never intimated, had you taken it in the correct context.
I accept you have a different view, opinion to me and that's fine but it's yours and others crowing of Barista that irks me and your defence of her to belittle another poster that got my goat.
That's just my viewpoint.

Anyway hope he doesn't have his contract renewed. His interview on Sky could have been a rerun from any of the previous 6 years and here we are still no better off or having learned or improved.

You didn't. When context/mitigating circumstances for awful results are pointed out some posters struggle so resort to "club apologist" abuse. Standard fare for those who only see through an anti-Radford lens and have to force the discussion to personal attacks.
In simple terms:
We don't have the resources of bigger clubs and have spent too much of what we do have on a reserves squad for a comp that never happened. This has compromised the relative quality of the first team.
Our recruitment was poor and our squad was light at prop from the getgo, even with Bowden and Green fit.
Resigning Minichiello and Talanoa in overseas spots has prevented us bringing in quality.
We have some injuries, which would not have affected the result against a Top 2 side but may have narrowed the margin.
Of course other teams with smaller budgets are doing well, like Castleford and Wakefield. But currently only to the extent of finishing higher than us. Cas have just lost to bottom club Leeds, Wakefield lost to Rovers and London.

Radford may not be the answer and obviously the buck stops with him so he may get the sack for a long run of largely embarrassing blowouts. But those hallucinating that we have cash for a big back room staff and marquee players should prepare themselves for disappointment. There's a reason Saints, Wigan and Leeds have dominated SL in the last decade or so and it's the same reason Warrington are knocking on the door.

It's not a case of being "satisfied" with the status quo, just being more balanced than "spewing" anti-Radford vitriol. All this internal anger and constant negative repetition must be exhausting.

Anyone with pride would quit after that game, but LR wont, his pride is a mixture of ignorane and arrogance.

Recruitment has been poor, retention even worse.

Back to back CC's are fab, but that 541t show last nighr was embarassing, AGAIN!

After last night I think it's time for a new coach, coaching team and a new culture at the club. We have had continuity in the coaching staff since mcrae was here 15 years ago. Since then we've had new coa

Brian Clough won 2 European Cups with Nottingham Forest, however sentiment kept him at the club for far too and his last game saw Forest relegated from the Premier League. Every coach has a lifespan and Radford is no exception. Don’t be remembered as the coach that created Wembley history and then subsequently oversaw 3 record defeats, kept hold of too many has beens and finally took us down.
Do the right thing.

Re: Radford out : Sat Mar 30, 2019 9:53 am
Hi All, Wire fan in peace. When the clamour started for us to get rid of Tony Smith, I argued long and hard that he didn't turn into a bad coach overnight and it was the players who were letting us down.

Here was a man who had given us long overdue success, had us playing great rugby and rescued us from dross and underachievement year on year and yet he was treated like a leper.

Well, he went, and apart from a tough opening two months under Price when it looked like we had dropped a monumental clanger, we've been on an upward trajectory.

Some of the players look technically totally different, and they all look happier so maybe it's true, everyone has a sell-by date, there's no room for emotion and last week, last year and any glory along the way only belong in the record books.

Good luck for the rest of the season.
