We beat Wakefield next weekend and Wigan beat Cas (neither result out of the question) we would be third outright.

That said, we lose and Catalans win at Saints we'd slip to a lowly sixth place.

Just seen we are on the losing end of 2019s biggest SL home and away wins after today. Our inconsistency is somewhat worrying, despite the table showing we don’t have much to worry about.

FWIW I think Saints will win it all, probably against Wire in both finals. Hardly surprising they shat on us from a great height.

Indeed. Taylor still carrying the pack isn't he? If we can keep Paea in current form and get Bowden back at some point then maybe we can push on but we really need some new impetus in the forwards next season. I think it's in hand if what I've heard is correct.

I see threads like this and it makes me cringe! The clubs mouth piece in full on pro propaganda mode!

Another way of looking at it is super league on the whole is pretty poop yet the current top two teams have put over 120 points on us in the last month yet were operating at over full cap, cant win without a player who retired eighteen months ago and are miles away from being a top side in a very average super league

The fact that Baristas bumchums love to start crowing when weve just had over 60 put on us is just laughable

Yeh I think your right , the standard apart from the top 2 in super league is pretty poor

Play nicely please Seb. Plenty were expecting Lee to be gone by today, yet here we are with the same points as Castleford for goodness' sake. How marvellous given the injuries we've had. Maybe resurrect your Costa Concordia analogy, that played out beautifully x

I’m not a happy clapper (and still not totally convinced by LR), but a bit of perspective is needed.
It was apparent early on that this was going to be a transitional season.
The heavy defeats are really disappointing, but we’ve had equal highs in the Catalan and Good Friday games. Plus we’ve signed up our playmaker for three more years.
I’m not unhappy where we are. Top five would be an achievement for me, with some proactive recruitment taking place, which will fill in the gaps which are clearly evident.
