Raynors is (was) on Hessle Road. I remember a Star and Garter behind the old bus station near the old Spring Street Theatre. Great pub.
OT, It will take more than stadium bans to stop some folk. not really sure how a stadium ban is enforced to be honest. Its not as if every steward is going to remember the face of every banned fan.
As has been mentioned, if you get caught lobbing stuff in any direction within a crowded areas, you are endangering many and the threat of a custodial would hopefully make a few think twice.
The Hessle Road pub was for years colloquially called Raynors simply because it was the name of a famous past Landlord, Harry Raynor back in the 1920's but it was always actually the Star and Garter it only changed to the 'more trendy' Rayners in later years.

It was Star behind bus station MmJ, sadly no longer a pub, it served lovely Tetley bitter, and I frequently used it over the years, managers included, Mally, Keith & Mavis, Pete Robbi. Happy days
As you can probably guess I'm experienced (a grumpy old bugger), been retired over 10 years. Always enjoyed our visits to Hull, we used to go into Raynors, Star and Garter? on Hessle Road and St. Andrews Social Club. To say we met some "characters" in there would be an understatement lol but never any trouble.
Can't make it on Thursday as I've just had an op on my hand and can't drive and my sons working. We were going to come over had it been Saturday as scheduled!!
It’s a shame it’s not on a weekend, you could have gone round our splendid marina, and had a look round Humber street and the new vogue area of Hull.
Just because he has no tangible evidence it does not mean it did not happen. Unless the verbal evidence has been recorded or winesses come forward what do you expect this guy to do.
The fact he has made the claim and made it public, based on the balance of probability means it probably has happened.
You being defensive or protective with your various and varying "can he provide evidence" claims does not help.
What do I expect him to do, prove it, it’s a serious accusation.
I make no apologies for being defensive or protective of the club I love, certainly not to the forum bully.
