@Chris71 sums it up nicely.

I guess you must be another one on here who has trust issues and doesn’t believe what he’s been told . A few things in there , he’s had ups and downs , how this season and back of last have gone , been easier to stay at hull ..... but if you knew what had gone on , very unlikely to happen . Would be very unprofessional if he came out and slagged the club off or coaching staff , very rarely that happens even after a falling out . I’m sure you’ll try and keep this going , as it seems like you have to have the last word !

I think I read somewhere, we have till August to finalise deals.

I’m sure other deals are already completed and the clubs media guys will release this information when they think best.

I don't disagree with you saying Swain was better overall, to be fair Swain was the best hooker in the world. But Swain would occasionally take a breather in a game, Houghton rarely does, which is why he is unique. If you don't need to interchange your 9, in theory we should have more punch coming off the bench.

Best hooker in the world that played for Hull was Tommy Harris.Now he WAS a one off!

Bomber was one of my heroes when I started watching in the 50's. Made of steel was Tommy.

And a Lance Todd trophy winner, on the losing side, he must of been tremendous to watch :D

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

That'll be the deadline for signings to play this season. (August 9th.)

Not only won the Lance Todd trophy against Wakey, but played at least half the match with concussion. As I said before he was made of steel. I believe I read somewhere that the Queen had some complimentary words to say about him.

He went into the match with a niggling shoulder injury which in the end coupled with concussion caused him to have to leave the field about 10 mins from the end being totally spent. He had previously being taken from the field a couple of times with head knocks. On being assisted back to the dressing room he received great applause from all fans and for me it marked the bravest performance I have ever witnessed. Was never prouder to be a Hull FC supporter.

I believe his LTT award was unanimous from the judging panel which in itself was an outstanding achievement as Wakefield had won by a record score at Wembley which included a couple of great individual performances in their ranks.
