I think it will be very difficult game on Saturday.
I've been so impressed with Salford and particularly Watson, he can really get his teams to play no matter what cards he's dealt. And as a selling kind of club it must be frustrating but he keeps them "on it" and they can really play good running rugby when they're in the mood, no matter who they're up against.

They've been kind of hit and miss up to a few weeks ago, but in the last 3 or 4 weeks they've had really convincing wins.
Now that they know they can play, and put back to back wins together, they will be dangerous opposition who command respect.
I think Watson will have them believing they can be a winning club despite all the difficulties they face.

We really have to meet them head on and stop any momentum shifting their way, because they will be a difficult to stop should they get a head start.

Honestly think our 'A' game is needed Saturday, will be difficult with Kelly and possibly Connor out, but we have to find a way. If we can we will win the game.
It's a great opportunity to show we have the mentality and squad strength to face up strong all over the park, win more individual battles than they do and overcome this adversity.

I'd rather have to deal with this, than Watsons perennial hand of knowing he'll continue to lose most of his players who shine.

A good summary of the situation.

Salford are a decent side who command respect. The game will be a good test of Radford's tactical coaching credentials. He's done quite well getting the team motivated recently but for me the jury is still out on his tactical coaching ability.
I'd like to see us continually run at Hastings in the defensive line to tire him out and make him less effective in attack. Similarly strategic kicks into the corners on 3rd and 4th tackles before the wingers have retreated will force Evalds to do a lot of work in his own quarter and tire him out.
Hopefully we'll see a polished tactical performance and come away with a valuable win.

To reconcile respect with practicality, what is the optimum speed for a hearse?

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Eye infection followed by a bout of sickness, so only just back training with the squad.

Indeed, win today and we take 2nd spot outright. These are the games that to be serious contenders we need to win.
I do rate Ian Watson as a coach highly though so not going to be an easy night. What’s he’s done with Salford should be commended with the budget and constant player comings & going’s.

That said we need to get the 2pts tonight.

very important to win today,if we win,we are 2nd.if we lose then major questions need to be asked about our ability to perform at home.it would be 5 wins from 12 at home.

Entertaining first half and close as you'd expect given 4th v 5th.
